Work today in association with The BMP Film Co covering a Lollapalooza After Party with Robbert Poissant. Featuring a performance by Wacka Flocka Flame hosted by Four Loko for the release of Four Loko Gold. 

Work today in association with Leap weddings for the the wedding celebration of Mary & Mike at the Drake Hotel in downtown Chicago. Robbert Poissant and I enjoyed a beautiful summer day with a great group of people. And we had a special photo-shoot with Juno the English bulldog.

Life & work this week in association with Leap Weddings. I had the privileged of traveling with Ben Mahoney to Denver Colorado five days ahead of schedule for the wedding celebration of Stefani + Matt AKA the Lucas. I am super glad we did because after 30 years at sea level my body needed to adjust to the altitude change! While adjusting we enjoyed capturing Denver as a character for this wedding film. We enjoyed the hospitality of the Lucas at their gorgeous home in Golden Colorado. Also we enjoyed shooting a much anticipated music video with the entire bridal party! 

ork today in association with Leap Weddings, working along side Caesar Martinez  for the wedding celebration of Alex + Jason. We just had the best day at Lake Geneva's Abby Resort. We made a new photographer friend Jordan Imhoff Photography who was just a pleasure to work with. The ceremony took place by the lake where Jason proposed. The reception was amazing! The room was gorgeously crafted by Derrick Taylor of Tiffany & CO, who also is a top notch planner and a bastion of tranquility in the chaos of a wedding reception. The entertainment for the evening was the band Green Thirteen. This group has a lot of great energy and they were very accommodating to help us capture great audio all day!

Work today in association with Leap Weddings, working along side Caesar Martinez for the wedding celebration of Joyce + Scott.  The ceremony and reception took place at the Holiday Inn of downtown Chicago. We got to work along side one of the best photographers in the game, Colin Lyons and went on an epic photo shoot in great weather. DJ Kate of Toast and Jam is always a blast to work with. There was a Korean ceremony that took place called the Paebaek, so the whole party left the banquet room right when the dance floor opened...I walked in to grab a light and she was playing funk lowly and dancing with the bridesmaids.

Work today in association with ChicaGo Video Works, a refferal from Carl Wiedemann We spent the day operating one of three steadicams rigs that were covering the annual Navy Chef competition located at the Great Lakes Naval Base. Imagine a well disciplined, clean environment where creativity is encouraged and teamwork is essential...

Happy 4th of July! I woke up to find out that James proposed to my mother yesterday. So we gave them a complementary impromptu engagement photo session around the art museums downtown. 

Work today in association with Leap Weddings for the wedding celebration of Dina + Tom. It's always such a lovely time to celebrate the 4th of July weekend with a wedding! Dina + Tom threw a freedom fest for the record books. We got to play with the Phantom 3 today, and our drone game grows stronger!

Work today at All About You Media we were taking some time to learn the art of the FOG. Personal transportation units for city and rural is here. Its cheap, form factor & energy efficient. Today was also the start of what is going to be an epic July 4th weekend! My mother came into town to visit. We went to see U2 play at the united center for the iNNOCENCE and eXPERIENCE tour...about 30 minutes into the show she turns to me and says..."I don't think I like U2"...So we left early, I am not really a fan of enclosed amphitheater concerts, I would have much preferred to see them play at an outdoor venue. Cool visuals though, they definitely live up to the hype and at one point shortly before we left there as a ballad by Johnny Cash. 

Work today  in association with the BMP Film Co.  Day three of the Interactive Customer Experience Summit hosted by Networld Media Group.  The final day of the summit was spent collecting reactions from vendors and attendees. We had a great time and look forward to the next Networked Media Group event. Special thanks to Ben Mahoney and Robbert Poissant for making us a part of this project.

Work today in association with the BMP Film Co.  Day one of the Interactive Customer Experience Summit hosted by Networld Media Group. The next couple days are all about digital signage and we are paying attention and taking notes! As an ice breaker for everyone attending the summit there was a high tech scavenger hunt around Michigan avenue...we'll find out who won Monday morning...Always a great day working with our industry friends.

Work today in association with Xpress Video Productions.  We had a great time with this couple. Super sweet and just right for each other we caught wind early in the day that everyone was really excited about the reception at the Belvedere Events & Banquets,  because Maria's uncle owns it! . Thanks for making us a part of this one Jeff Goldstein. We were having so much fun today it was hard to keep both feet on the ground!

Life today at All About You Media. It was our good friend Rob Poissant's birthday and the BMP Film Co crew went to the the House of Blues to see Jack McClain play with his band Sex Therapy. Great show, great time & great music!

Work today in association with the BMP Film Co.  Ben Mahoney took us out to the ball game at Wrigley Field for Paddington Bear's birthday party. Paddington threw the first ball of the game and the crowd went wild! 

Work today at All About You Media in association with Steve Spradin. We were booked for our service as Steadicam Pilot Operator. The event was officially called the Terrace Party hosted at the Peninsula in downtown Chicago and was spectacular. We ran into all our favorite planners. Including Maria Dollas Special thanks and photo cred to Kristina Taheri for the image in front of Liz  one of the spectacular performers you can follow her on #cirqueUSA 

Work today in association with the BMP Film Co. We spent the day at the Taste of Randolph after capturing Graham Czach set at 1:30pm on the west stage. Thanks Ben Mahoney for booking us on this one. Quite a few freelance friends were out and enjoying the music and the warm weather. We discovered a new product that really captured out imaginations! Its called Feet of the Ground or FOG. We just struck a deal with our new friend Renee @fogptu . Stay tuned for some sweet videos we are going to make! Some times you have a slow week...And then sometimes your connection Brian Willette asks the BMP Film Co. to do a lyric video for T-Pain...Glad to have the opportunity to work on this one. This is our first foray into the Typography Music video. 

Work today at All About You Media in association with the BMP Film Co. This is the second year that Ben has hired us to work on the crew for the Field Glass Best Practices Summit hosted at the Loews Hotel in Downtown Chicago. This year we are on creative duty for the highlight video of the event. Great experience and very insightful several days to the world of behind the scenes business management. A common theme we hear is that there is a zero unemployment rate for the tech industry in the valley...if one were so inclined.

This year we are on creative duty for the highlight video of the event. Jack and I accompanied the attendees to a Cubs game in the evening. It was a first for me in the Wrigley Rooftop Bleachers. Great spot to watch the game.
